Referral Agreement

Terms governing referral fees between Proptefy and participating agents. Last updated: August 30, 2026

This Referral Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms under which Proptefy ("Company") provides lead referrals to registered real estate agents ("Agent") through its platform.

1. Agreement

By registering as a real estate agent on Proptefy and subscribing to receive leads, you agree to the terms of this Referral Agreement. This Agreement is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and is binding upon acceptance of those Terms.

The Agent must hold a valid, active real estate license in the state(s) where they operate and maintain affiliation with a licensed brokerage throughout the term of this Agreement.

2. Referral Fee Structure

The fee structure for Proptefy is as follows:

  • Verification Fee: A one-time, non-refundable fee of $29.00 is charged upon registration to cover license verification and account setup.
  • Lead Fee: A one-time fee of $1.00 is charged to unlock the leads portal. This fee grants the Agent access to all leads in their service area.
  • Additional Referral Fees: If applicable to specific transactions, additional referral fees may be negotiated separately in writing between the Company and the Agent. Any such fees must be agreed upon before the transaction proceeds.

All fees are in U.S. dollars and are processed through our payment processor, Stripe. The Company reserves the right to modify the fee structure with a minimum of 30 days' advance written notice to the Agent.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • The $29.00 verification fee is charged immediately upon account registration via Stripe.
  • The $1.00 one-time subscription fee unlocks the leads portal for the Agent with no additional per-lead charges.
  • The Agent must maintain a valid payment method on file. If payment fails, lead delivery may be suspended until payment is resolved.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
  • Refunds for duplicate charges or billing errors must be requested within 30 days of the charge by contacting support@proptefy.com.

4. Closing Process

Regarding lead transactions and closings:

  • The Agent is solely responsible for converting leads into transactions. Proptefy does not guarantee any lead will result in a closed transaction.
  • The Agent is responsible for maintaining all required relationships, including brokerage affiliation, to legally conduct real estate transactions.
  • Any additional referral fees related to a specific closing must be agreed upon in writing before the transaction closes.
  • The Agent agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations in connection with any transaction resulting from a Proptefy lead.
  • The Agent must report completed transactions to Proptefy within 30 days of closing for platform tracking purposes.

5. Agent Obligations

The Agent agrees to:

  • Maintain a valid, active real estate license and brokerage affiliation at all times.
  • Promptly contact all assigned leads within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Provide professional, ethical service to all referred clients in accordance with applicable real estate regulations.
  • Keep account and license information current and accurate.
  • Not share, sell, or transfer leads assigned through Proptefy to other agents or third parties.
  • Not use lead information for purposes other than providing real estate services to the referred client.
  • Respond to Proptefy communications in a timely manner.
  • Report any issues with lead quality to Proptefy support within 7 days of lead delivery.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice. Upon termination, the Agent's right to receive leads through Proptefy ceases immediately. Leads already assigned and in progress remain subject to the terms of this Agreement. Outstanding fees remain payable after termination. The Agent's data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
